Juneteenth Festival
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and nonprofit organization The Voice Inc. will host the 18th annual Round Rock Juneteenth Festival at the Lake Pavilion and festival area in Old Settlers Park. The event will feature live music, games, vendors and specialty food.

As part of the Texas Bach Festival, the organization’s chamber orchestra will hold a concert at the First United Methodist Church Georgetown. The camerata orchestra will perform Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons" and Mozart’s "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" in G major.

The 2024 Sertoma Independence Day Parade, which will feature giant helium and cold-air inflatables, will take place on a 1.5-mile stretch of Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Hwy. 79.

Round Rock Preservation Vice President Frank Darr will give a presentation on the history of Kenney Fort, Round Rock’s first permanent settlement built in 1838. The presentation, to be held at the Round Rock Public Library, will focus on the fort’s founding through the history of the Texas Archive War.

The Penfold Theatre Co. plans to host a series of play readings throughout the summer as it works to open its new permanent home in Round Rock. “Deus Ex Machina”, written by Penfold Associate Artistic Director Liz Fisher, is a live, choose-your-own-adventure performance that gives control of the play’s storyline to the audience.
