The board of trustees approved by consent the proposal for Austin-based O'Connell Robertson Architecture, Inc. to handle architectural design of several projects at the high school, which are included in the 2024 bond package approved by voters in November.

The details

Officials approved a $724,472 contract with the firm for the design of multiple projects at Westwood, including:
  • Softball and baseball locker room renovations
  • Softball and baseball turf field conversions
  • Renovations to other athletics facilities
  • Resurfacing of the running track
  • Renovations to fine arts facilities
  • Improvements to fire alarms at the campus
