Round Rock ISD sets maximum price for Early College High School Phase 1 construction
Months after approving agreements with Austin Community College to facilitate the construction of an Early College High School near its Round Rock campus, Round Rock ISD has set the maximum price it will pay for the first phase of construction.
What you need to know
RRISD trustees voted Feb. 15 to set the maximum price of $949,502 for the first phase of the ECHS. This price includes project contingencies, allowances, bonds and insurance, per district documents.
The scope of work for the price approved will include the initial structure of the high school as well as labor and equipment to relocate underground infrastructure, such as utility lines.

Round Rock ISD embarks on first phase of hail damage repairs
Round Rock ISD will soon begin just over $2.4 million in repairs to district facilities identified as most immediately in need, following a September hail storm that caused an estimated $70 million in damage.
What you need to know
Six RRISD buildings have been approved for repair, having been identified as needing the most immediate restoration. This comes after the district identified up to $70 million in repairs to facilities in November.
