About $1.86 million in wastewater improvements are coming to the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District this fall.

A new sewer line will be installed in the BCMUD, staff confirmed in July, leading to a temporary pocket park closure.
The details
The BCMUD will replace about 3,000 linear feet of 12-inch sewer line near Brushy Creek North Park, district Public Information Specialist Brian Rash confirmed via email July 20.
The line will be located along Park Drive and a portion of Eagle Way. During construction, the park playscape and parking lot at the 5-acre Brushy Creek North Park will be closed.
What's next?
Construction will begin this fall, Rash said. Once started, it will last about nine months.
