Community members interested in learning more about fentanyl—a highly potent opioid that ranks as the No. 1 leading cause of death in 18- to 45-year-olds, according to the Texas National Guard—can participate in a virtual town hall held by Round Rock ISD on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m.
Topics of focus at the information session will include fentanyl awareness, prevention and resource information, according to an announcement from the district. Community members will be able to pose questions to district officials ahead of the session, as well. Registration is required to attend the virtual event.
For those who cannot attend the event at its scheduled time, a recording will be available on the district's fentanyl awareness webpage.
