YMCA Central Texas marked the start of construction on a new outdoor aquatics center in Round Rock on Feb. 23.
Two-minute impact
Chasco Family YMCA board members held a groundbreaking for the new aquatics center, to be named the Carl and Deanna Miller Family Pool, on Feb. 23. It will be located behind the existing Chasco Family YMCA facility at 1812 N. Mays St., Round Rock, and is expected to open in October.
It replaces a parking lot, and visitors to the facility will no longer be able to park along North Mays Street once completed.
