Morrison Supply Company, which has multiple locations throughout the Austin metro, was officially renamed to Reece Plumbing May 6.

The company provides parts and supplies for plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and waterworks. The Australian-based company has more than 800 branches across three countries.Indeed

The Austin-based job search company Indeed will lay off approximately 1,000 employees—or 8% of its workforce—according to a May 13 announcement.

In the announcement, Indeed CEO Chris Hyams said the layoffs will mostly affect U.S. employees across different regions, but a company representative declined to comment on how Austin offices, including the global headquarters downtown, would be affected.Dell Technologies

The computer, monitor and technology services company marked 40 years of operation in Round Rock in early May. First known as PC’s Limited, the company was founded May 3, 1984 by Michael Dell in his dorm room at the University of Texas at Austin.

The company’s headquarters relocated to Round Rock in 1994.
