After one Wingstop in Round Rock closed last month, another plans to open this summer.

The Wingstop at 150 Sundance Parkway, Ste. 400, in the La Frontera Village closed in mid-April. However, a new location is in the works.

Franchise owner Charles Loflin said construction on the new site—next to Pizza Twist in the Round Rock Crossing shopping plazas—is underway. The restaurant offers chicken wings, sandwiches and tenders, and patrons will also find a variety of fries, Cajun fried corn and veggie sticks.

The restaurant also has another location on 1700 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Ste. 440, in Round Rock.
