Round Rock-based Wag-A-Bag to be acquired, name to eventually be changed
Round Rock-based gas station and convenience store Wag-A-Bag has entered an agreement to sell its assets to Refuel Operating Co. LLC, a Charleston, South Carolina-based gas station and convenience store business.

Neighborhood sports bar 685 Backyard opened Feb. 27 at 19903 FM 685, Pflugerville. The bar is both kid-friendly and dog-friendly. Features include outdoor live music, bean bag toss games and a daily happy hour.
Local liquor store opens 2 locations in Hutto
Starbeam Liquor opened two locations in Hutto on March 15. One is located at 133 E Front St., Ste. 200, Hutto. Starbeam’s second location is at 6081 FM 1660, Ste. 200, Hutto. The stores sell liquor along with mixers.

Vietnamese restaurant Pho Tran88 opened April 22 at 212 N. LBJ St., San Marcos. The business specializes in pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup, but has several other menu items including bahn mi sandwiches, wonton soup and appetizers.
