MAP: SH 130 to close at Pecan Street July 17-20

Drivers should prepare for a detour along SH 130 near Pecan Street this weekend. (John Cox/Community Impact Newspaper)

All northbound SH 130 lanes will be closed at Pecan Street this weekend.

The closure is scheduled to last from 9 p.m. July 17-5 a.m. July 20. During this time, the Texas Department of Transportation will install overhead toll equipment.

Drivers will detour by exiting at Pecan, traveling through the toll gantry and then re-entering SH 130, according to information provided by TxDOT. Signage has been placed to alert drivers of the impending closure.
