Blue Starlite opens Round Rock drive-in movie theater

Blue Starlite opened a Round Rock drive-in movie theater Feb. 28. The business also has an Austin location. (Community Impact staff)

Blue Starlite, a mini urban drive-in movie theater, opened a Round Rock location Feb. 28. The theater shows "childhood favorites, drive-in classics, indie films" and more, according to its website.


As it stands, 45 car slots are available at each showtime. Films are shown on a 32-foot pop-up screen inside Old Settler's Park next to the Rock n River water park at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock. Blue Starlite offers concessions, including popcorn, candy, nachos and soda and has partnered with Salt Lick for food preorder and delivery. www.bluestarlitedrivein.com
