Amy Madison, executive director of the Pflugerville Community Development Corp., has begun serving her two-year tenure on the Texas Economic Development Council's board of directors, according to a Dec. 10 PCDC news release. The TED serves on behalf of more than 850 members and more than 500 public and private economic development organizations, according to the release.

Madison was appointed to the board during the TEDC's annual conference in San Antonio in October, where she was also presented with an award for the PCDC's community economic development initiatives.

“It is a privilege representing Pflugerville and serving on this statewide economic development board to help further the common goal of bringing new investment and jobs to the state of Texas,” Madison said in the release.
