Felix Chavez and Shara Turner continue to lead among the four candidates vying for two open seats on the Hutto ISD board of trustees. Turner has collected 4,111 votes as of 11:25 p.m., while Chavez clocks in with 3,971 votes. Additional candidates Christopher Parker and Mina Davis follow with 3,529 and 3,941 votes, respectively.

Matthew Brading, who withdrew his candidacy following the withdrawal deadline, has earned 1,612 votes.

Hutto ISD candidates Shara Turner and Felix Chavez lead with 4,081 votes and 3,940 votes as of 10:24 p.m. Fellow candidates Christopher Parker and Mina Davis follow with 3,498 and 3,920 votes, respectively.


Matthew Brading, who withdrew his candidacy but remained on the ballot, has received 1,601 votes.

Hutto ISD board of trustees candidates Felix Chavez and Shara Turner currently lead among four candidates vying for two open seats. Chavez has collected 3,910 votes as of 9:59 p.m., while Turner has earned 4,053 votes. Candidates Christopher Parker and Mina Davis have received 3,475 and 3,886 votes, respectively.

Matthew Brading, who withdrew his candidacy after the withdrawal deadline, has earned 1,585 votes.

Two open seats are up for election on Hutto ISD’s board of trustees. Candidate Felix Chavez received 3,672 votes; Mina Davis earned 3,725 votes; Christopher Parker received 3,278 votes; and Shara Turner earned 3,879 votes. Matthew Brading, who withdrew from the race, received 1,502 votes.

Results are updated as of 7:05 p.m. and are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk. Under Texas election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9 if they were sent from outside the U.S.
