Hutto ISD and the Hutto Public Library have collaborated to increase digital learning resources, e-books and audiobooks to students under student reading app Sora. The partnership aims to enhance online learning initiatives by consolidating the two libraries' collections into one digital space, according to a district news release.

Sora catalogs HISD's classroom materials and Hutto Public Library's juvenile and youth collection and "education-specific tools" to assist teachers, per the release.

“By partnering with the Hutto Public Library, Hutto ISD students now have access to thousands of more eBooks and audiobooks,” said Angela Hartman, the district lead librarian at Hutto ISD, in the release. “Each student in Hutto ISD has access to a district-issued Chromebook, and Sora is easily installed on Chromebooks and other compatible devices, providing books 24/7. If a student can’t visit the library in person, a huge library is still available to them.”
