Engineering consulting firm BGE to bring at least 80 new jobs to Round Rock

BGE, Inc.—a Houston-based engineering consulting firm—will create at least 80 new jobs in Round Rock with an average salary of $80,000, according to an economic development agreement approved by Round Rock City Council Dec. 5.

BGE provides services in civil engineering, public infrastructure, private development, surveying and more, according to the firm’s website.


The firm has leased 18,239 square feet of office space at 101 W. Louis Henna Blvd., Ste. 400, in Frontera Crossing, per city documents. BGE will invest at least $1,925,000 to improve the facility, according to the agreement. In exchange, the city will grant $100,000 of economic incentive payments to BGE.

The company has seven years from its date of occupancy—listed as Aug. 9, 2019 in city documents—to establish the 80 new jobs.
