Prospective employees will have the opportunity to ask questions and apply for positions during the event from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Best Western Plus, 16101 Impact Way, Pflugerville.
Positions include store associates at $11.65 per hour and shift managers at $11.65 per hour, plus an additional $5 premium when performing manager duties.
To qualify for employment, applicants must:
- be age 18 or older;
- have a high school diploma or GED; and
- be able to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. seven days a week
Aldi also offers full health insurance and dental coverage to employees averaging 25 or more hours per week. A 401(k) program is also available to employees.
Aldi has started work on property at 1414 FM 685, Pflugerville, on the east side of the road, south of Pfennig Lane.
The discount supermarket chain sells groceries, meats, healthy foods and produce. The store will be Aldi’s first in the Austin area.
The store is expected to be complete by the end of 2017, company officials said.
