Lake Pflugerville Park is set to reopen Aug. 28.

The city shared a timeline for the next round of parks and library reopenings Aug. 25 as Travis County moves into Stage 3 of Austin Public Health's risks-based guidelines. Stage 3 recommends limiting social gatherings to no more than 10 people as well as restricts open workplaces to essential and reopened businesses.

The following facilities and services will resume Aug. 28:
  • Parks and recreation:
    • Lake Pflugerville Park
    • park-based open spaces
    • athletic fields
    • outdoor basketball, volleyball courts
    • Windermere tennis court
  • Pflugerville Public Library:
    • courtyard space
Residents are still asked to use face masks and practice social distancing when utilizing reopened services and facilities. While in-person use of Pflugerville Public Library is still temporarily discontinued, modified services such as curbside pickup and drop-off are available.
