Round Rock's Christmas Family Night, scheduled for Dec. 7, has been canceled due to anticipated heavy rain.

The National Weather Service Dec. 6 issued a flash flood watch for Travis, Williamson and Hays counties. The rainfall is expected to end Friday night and clear up by Saturday morning, per the flash flood watch.

The city announced the cancellation Dec. 6 and said that Christmas Towne will still take place Dec. 13-23 at the Old Settlers Association. The Hometown Holiday lights will still be lit downtown each night this month, according to the city.
