The median home value in Pflugerville increased nearly $20,000 from 2017 to 2018, a 9.4% spike included in the 2018 American Community Survey data released Dec. 19.

For its city population, Pflugerville experienced a nearly 15% increase in its total number of residents since 2014, with its in-city population listed at approximately 60,000. Out of its total population, nearly 53% of residents are women, with men accounting for roughly 47%. The median age of residents decreased slightly in 2018, with the 2017 median listed as 36.8 years-old and the 2018 median as 36.0. Between 2017 and 2018, there was a slight dip in the percentage of Pflugerville residents 25 years and older with a high school diploma, while there was simultaneously an incremental increase in the percentage of those with a bachelor’s degree.
