The city of Hutto saw a dramatic population growth from 2014 to 2018, with more than 5,000 residents moving into the city limits within the five-year timespan.

As the city’s population continually grows, so, too, has its median home value. The median sticker price increased approximately $17,000 from 2017 to 2018, while the median household income decreased from $76,433 in 2017 to $73,764 in 2018.


As for its educational attainment, the city saw a slight increase in the number of individuals aged 25 or above who have a high school degree or higher from 2017 to 2018, while its number of bachelor’s degree holders remained the same at 27.7%.
