The H.E.L.P. Center of Austin, which specializes horse empowered learning programs, will celebrate its 35th anniversary on Nov. 2 with its annual fundraiser. The center aims to help individuals with "physical, emotional and cognitive challenges grow in strength and independence through personalized activities in partnership with the horse," according to its Facebook page. Hosted at Pflugerville Lions Club, 500 N. Railroad Ave., Pflugerville, the fundraiser runs from 5-8 p.m. and includes food, drinks, live entertainment and a "barn aisle" to meet H.E.L.P.'s horses.
