Construction on local roads and along I-35 continues this week and might affect drivers in the Georgetown area.

Here are five closures to look out for:

I-35 in Williamson County

Due to construction, I-35 will be reduced to two northbound lanes between Gattis School Road and RM 620 from 9 p.m. Oct. 3-5 a.m. Oct. 4. The entrance ramp from Hesters Crossing Road will also be closed.

Also because of construction, the south-to-north turnaround at McNeil Road will be closed through Oct. 7.

Hwy. 29

Due to construction, there will be one lane traffic control between Inner Loop Drive and Mileham Creek Bridge from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 3-7.

Georgetown road construction Again this week, there will be no access to or from High Tech Drive from FM 1460 due to construction.[/caption]

Because of construction on FM 1460, there will be no access to or from High Tech Drive, which is closed until further notice. Drivers can take an alternate route using Quail Valley and Texstar drives.
