Several tornados ripped through Central Texas during a severe weather event Monday, March 21.

Some of the worst destruction occurred in Round Rock, where multiple businesses, homes, vehicles and other structures were damaged or completely destroyed.

Locations in Round Rock where substantial damage occurred included the Chili's restaurant and the Bank of America locations at the Boardwalk shopping center off of I-35 frontage road, as well as SH 45 and I-35 interchange. Also hit hard was Eli's Roadside Market off of Hwy. 79 in northeast Round Rock.

Tornado destruction also swept through the Hutto area, though the amount of damage done in that area is not clear at this time.
