Pflugerville closes city facilities early; Round Rock Pflugerville and Hutto ISDs cancel after-school activities March 21

Due to anticipated severe weather, Pflugerville closed all its city facilities early at 2 p.m. March 21. Any in-person city meetings, programs and activities previously scheduled for after 2 p.m. are canceled.

Additionally, Pflugerville ISD, Round Rock ISD and Hutto ISD all announced they canceled all after-school activities March 21.


The city of Pflugerville's announcement states strong to severe thunderstorms are expected as early as 3 p.m.

The announcement encourages residents to tie down or put away loose objects outdoors, park vehicles under covering and identify safe shelter.
