What residents should know
Construction on Heatherwilde Boulevard from Pflugerville Parkway to SH 45 began Feb. 3. and will continue until Feb. 7. During this time, overnight lane closures will allow reversible traffic on both northbound and southbound lanes of Heatherwilde Boulevard.
Wilke Lane's outside eastbound lane will be closed until Feb. 28 to allow for the construction of a right turn lane near the Citizen House apartments.
On the intersections of Kenney Fort Boulevard and New Meister Lane and Kenney Fort Boulevard and Meister Lane, a flagger will direct traffic until Feb. 20. Traffic patterns will switch on southbound Kenney Fort Boulevard at this time.
The city will work to widen Picadilly Drive, Central Commerce Drive and Royston Lane starting Feb. 11. Other improvements include drainage, lighting and pedestrian features within the existing right of way. The construction is slated to last until September 2026.
