The details
On A.W. Grimes Boulevard, the outside northbound lane will be closed from a few hundred feet on either side of Pecos River Trail. The closure will take place from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on weekdays. The other northbound lane and all southbound lanes will remain open.
As part of the neighborhood street reconstruction project, nine streets will undergo full-depth reconstruction, mill and overlay, and pavement reclamation. Streets included in the package are:
- Algreg Street
- Dalshank Street
- Mashburn Street
- Option Avenue
- Sullivan Street
- Grand National Avenue
- Butler National Drive
- Diablo Drive
- Rowe Loop
Construction on A.W. Grimes is scheduled to wrap up Feb. 28. The neighborhood street reconstruction project will continue until approximately Aug. 30.
The city will post relevant updates for street closures online, according to a Facebook post.
