A new traffic signal was installed on the southeast corner of SH 130 and E. Pflugerville Parkway next to the new H-E-B grocery store under construction in Pflugerville.

The signal is located at the Pflugerville Parkway and Colorado Sand Drive intersection and was activated the week of Sept. 30.

What residents need to know

The new light will flash yellow for eastbound and westbound traffic on Pflugerville Parkway, and red for cars going northbound or southbound on Colorado Sand Drive. The signal will flash for about 30 days before becoming fully operational, according to the city.

Traffic going south on Colorado Sand must still stop at the stop sign, and traffic going north is blocked off from the public at this time, the city announced on its Facebook page.

What else?

The new H-E-B, across from the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, is slated to have its grand opening in November. The store will be the third Pflugerville location.
