The public will have an opportunity to learn about the ongoing FM 685 corridor study and provide feedback on desired improvements at an open house May 25.

The open house will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Pflugerville Public Library. Participants can come and go at their leisure.

Pflugerville City Council approved a $1.03 million contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. for the study in March.

Kimley-Horn will conduct a comprehensive analysis of FM 685 from SH 130 to Wells Branch Parkway using an array of methods including topographic surveying, subsurface utility engineering and traffic analysis.

At the conclusion of the study, Kimley-Horn will present a series of proposed improvements to FM 685 based on its findings.

According to a city presentation, Kimley-Horn expects to report its findings and present recommendations in January 2023.

Members of the project team will be available to talk with attendees at the May 25 open house.
