Improvements to Kelly Lane in Pflugerville have already begun. As part of Phase 1, crews widened the roadway west of Falcon Pointe Blvd.

As part of Phase 2, which voters approved as part of a 2018 bond election and is slated to begin in the spring, workers will widen the two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided section from Falcon Point Boulevard to just east of Moorlynch Avenue.

City information states Phase 2 will add raised medians, increase lighting, improve drainage to reduce flooding, add continuous sidewalks and include the addition of a roundabout at Vilamoura Street.

City staff have also kicked off community outreach for Phase 3 through an open house event at the Falcon Point Clubhouse on Feb. 3.

Voters approved Phase 3 of the Kelly Lane project via a 2020 bond election.

The open house centered on preliminary designs for the realignment of Kelly Lane and sought resident input.

City staff said a cost estimate should be available once Phase 2 goes to bid.
