While work on the first phase of a road improvement project near the Stone Hill Town Center is ongoing, a key component of the plan—a roundabout at the intersection of Town Center Drive and Pfluger Farm Lane—has been delayed until at least mid-January.

Lifestyle Communities, the developer for the project, initially planned construction of the roundabout for late September.

The delay also pauses a planned closure of that intersection, which is slated to last 90 days.

Other work for the area, which includes an extension of Pfluger Farm to the north, is ongoing.

Information from the city of Pflugerville states Phase 1 is the first in a series of projects aimed at completing the extension of Pfluger Farm to facilitate more connectivity between Pflugerville Parkway and Wilke Lane.

The developer-funded project cost is estimated at $3 million.
