Pflugerville City Council is set to discuss and possibly take action on the selection of a new emergency medical services provider at its regular meeting May 10.
The discussion comes after the city mutually terminated its contract with Acadian Ambulance Services in March due to a jurisdictional disagreement.
At previous meetings, council members have suggested a contract with Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 or with another private provider as two potential options.
Acadian is contractually obligated to continue providing services to Pflugerville until July 13 while the city considers its next move.
