Delton Southern, who co-owns the store with his business partner Andre Artiss, said the shop is an old-fashioned cigar lounge where people can relax, watch a game, enjoy music and have a good conversation while enjoying a top-quality cigar. Austin-based lawn and garden wholesale distribution company Exaco Trading Co. will be open by the end of July at the earliest, according to Andrew Cook, vice president of sales and marketing. The company, which also sells greenhouses and garden tools, broke ground on the at 16001 Impact Way, Pflugerville, in May 2021. Exaco planned to move from its facility at 10203 B Metropolitan Drive, Austin, by the end of 2021, but Cook said supply chain issues and other delays slowed completion of the project.

Black Rock Coffee Bar held a grand opening June 3 at 5013 Gattis School Road, Hutto. The coffee company’s menu includes hot and iced coffee drinks as well as drinks without coffee. A new Taco Casa opened June 14 at 330 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto, making it the first location in the Austin-metro area. The Fort Worth-based Tex-Mex chain specializes in light Mexican fare including tacos, burritos, nachos and tostadas. Vape Gallery opened May 20 at 525 Chris Kelley Blvd., Ste. 400, Hutto. The store offers a variety of vape and smoke products and is open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week. Vape Gallery does not yet have a website. 512-800-8298.

Construction is underway on Texas AllStar Cheer & Dance, a 14,000-square-foot gym located at 325 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto. The facility is expected to be complete this winter. Currently, AllStar Cheer rents a space at 4674 Priem Lane, Ste. 200, Pflugerville. Locally owned Frosties is scheduled to open in mid-August at 117 East St., Ste. 150, Hutto. The to-go daiquiri shop was originally scheduled to open in June, but the opening date was delayed mainly due to the inspection process, according to owner Roshon Alfred.
