Baylor Scott & White recently expanded its services to include urgent care at its Hutto clinic.

The gist

Patients in need of urgent care can now visit the clinic from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Monday-Friday; and at 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends, according to a news release. Urgent care services are for sick visits only and available to patients six months and older. The clinic accepts walk-ins, or patients can schedule an appointment online at www.bswhealth.com/urgentcare.

The health facility expanded earlier this year, adding more exam rooms, lab and nurse stations, and increasing the lobby size. The clinic also provides preventative, primary and pediatric care to the communities in and around Hutto. Other services include cancer screenings, women’s health and general medical care.

The clinic is located at 120 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto.
