The city of Pflugerville will launch a new media suite, including a redesigned website, Roku video platform, app and video series.

The communication platforms and video series will be available Oct. 1.

What is it?

Residents can expect a new city website with multilingual browsing options, a chatbot and improved event calendar.

Pflugerville Media will also now serve the city, with video streaming options and the PF Media app. Users can stream or rewatch public meetings as well as city video programs on Roku or directly in the app. A new video series, "PF INSIDER: Frontline Work, Heart of the City," will feature city employees who help keep public services running. This will be available with the launch of Pflugerville Media and PF Media app Oct. 1.

What they’re saying

“This launch is more than what meets the eye; it’s a deliberate step to broaden our engagement with the community and improve accessibility for our residents,” Interim Communications Director Roger Heaney said in a news release. “We encourage everyone to explore the enhanced technology platforms and discover all their city has to offer.”
