Trash pick up will be delayed for Pflugerville and Hutto residents, according to city officials.

What Pflugerville residents should know

Collection routes will be pushed a day behind their regular schedule for those located in Pflugerville due to winter weather conditions.

Below details the impacted Pflugerville trash routes:
  • For normal pickup day on Monday, trash services will move to Tuesday, Jan. 16
  • For normal pickup day on Tuesday, trash services will move to Wednesday, Jan. 17
  • For normal pickup day on Wednesday, trash services will move to Thursday, Jan. 18
  • For normal pickup day on Thursday, trash service will move to Friday, Jan. 19
  • For normal pickup day on Friday, trash services will move to Saturday, Jan. 20

Hutto residents can also expect a delay.

An update on social media from the city’s waste management company indicated a delay in services. The company did not provide any further details. The service provider is currently closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but will resume normal office hours Jan. 16.
