Three members of Pflugerville city staff will move into new positions following Deputy City Manager Trey Fletcher's departure for West Lake Hills April 22.

Pflugerville City Council appointed the staff members to their new positions at an April 26 meeting.

James Hartshorn, formerly the city's assistant city manager, will take Fletcher's place as deputy city manager. Former planning director Emily Barron will fill the assistant city manager position.

"I'm really looking forward to the challenge," Barron said. "I've got some big shoes to fill, but I really enjoy working here [and] working for this community,"

Additionally, former communications director Terri Toledo will move into a brand new position, director of management services. The position's responsibilities include management of administration services and internal support.

"We recognized that Terri has more to give to our community than what she did as communications director," City Manager Sereniah Breland said. "If anyone knows what's going on in the city, it's Terri."
