The ballot for Hutto's upcoming City Council and school board elections in May will feature two candidates for mayor, four for City Council and six for the Hutto ISD board of trustees.

The window to file for candidacy opened Jan. 19 and closed Feb. 18. Below are the candidates running for each open position.

* denotes incumbent

Hutto mayor

  • Mike Snyder*

  • Mandi Villarreal Salvo

Hutto City Council, Place 3

  • Ida Weaver

  • Randal Clark

Hutto City Council, Place 6

  • Amberley Kolar

  • Nicole Calderone

Neither City Council seat has an incumbent candidate. Former Place 6 Council Member Tanner Rose resigned in January, and Council Member Mandi Villarreal Salvo, who holds the Place 3 seat, will run for mayor in May rather than seek re-election to her current seat.

Hutto ISD board of trustees

  • Billie Logiudice*

  • Terrence Owens*

  • Ashley McCombs

  • Jason McCombs

  • Shannon Jacobs

  • Stevie Jones

HISD board of trustees members are elected at large rather than to numbered places. The three seats set to expire in May are occupied by Board President Billie Logiudice, Board Member Terrence Owens and Board Member Morgan Hubbard. Hubbard will not run for re-election.

Early voting for the election will run from April 25 through May 3, and election day is May 7.
