A variety of festivals, gatherings and concerts are lined up in the Pflugerville, Hutto and Round Rock area, from late June to early August. Check out these 15 events happening in the area.

Adult animal visit

The Pflugerville Public Library invites anyone 18 and up to visit with mini horses. Participants will also be able to learn more about the therapy animals.Sunset Soiree

Rockabilly Brewing is inviting moms looking for new friends to gather for a speed dating-style event. The event, which will feature live music, will include two 45-minute rounds, and the host will contact any moms who match. Tickets are required to participate in the speed dating.Music in the Park

Roland & The Roots Riddim will perform at Pfluger Park. The reggae band has served as the opening act for Bob Marley’s band, The Wailers.TexMex Tequila Festival


The Hutto Chamber of Commerce will host a festival dedicated to artisanal tequila and small bites at the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. The event, for ages 21 and up, will include tequila tastings, food, live music, dancing and art.

American Rhapsody

The city of Hutto will celebrate a Fourth of July celebration at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater. The event will feature live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and a fireworks display.Fireworks show

The city of Pflugerville will partner with Typhoon Texas to host a Fourth of July fireworks show. Attendees not visiting the water park may park and view the show from several other Pflugerville locations.Lady Bird Lake Paddle

The Pflugerville Parks and Recreation department is inviting adults 18 and older to go on Lady Bird Lake with kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. Transportation and equipment rental are provided as part of the registration. Attendees will eat at a local restaurant before heading back to the Pflugerville Recreation Center.Maintain Your Bike lesson


Pflugerville residents can learn basic bike maintenance in a 45-minute presentation by Viva Bikes, followed by a 45-minute presentation. Registration, which began July 1, is required to attend the event.Summer Kitty Cafe

The Pflugerville Public Library is hosting an event with Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services for people to socialize with adoptable felines and enjoy a cup of cocoa or coffee. Ages 5 and up are welcome to attend.Greater Austin Comic Con 2024

The two-day comic con event will feature vendors, gaming competitions, cosplay contests and a superhero themed car show. The event will also include movie and TV stars, world-renowned cosplay artists, came developers, comic book creators, writers and artists.

The Beatles tribute band Rain will perform at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater. Attendees will hear classic songs from the legendary band, while the musicians perform exact reenactments of the Beatles in front of psychedelic visual effects.Almost Everything Market

The Pflugerville Farmers Market is hosting a celebration of pets, which will feature a pet parade, fashion show, adoptions, picnic and other entertainment.Cedar Park Rodeo

The Cedar Park Rodeo will be held at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, featuring two nights of professional rodeo events such as bare back riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping and other competitions.
