The Round Rock Police Department and city church leaders are hosting an event to show support for first responders. Hosted by Fellowship Church Round Rock, the event give community members the opportunity to offer prayer and encouragement for police, fire and EMS personnel.

The national community-based nonprofit organization is a five-week running series designed for kids to become active and build confidence as well as laying a foundation for healthy habits. For pre-K through eighth grade students, the event includes different race distances for each age.

The Asian World Night Market festival highlights food and culture from all over Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, China, India and more. The festival being held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church offers a chance for attendees to learn methods for improving Earth’s environment. The event includes demonstrations and learning opportunities about ways to reduce energy, water use, pollution and waste.

The 47th annual festival celebrating German culture will offer a weekend of children's games, shopping booths, competitions and live music. Those wishing to participate in the 3-mile or Kid’s 1k Pfun Run must register online by Oct. 16.

The annual Halloween event hosted by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and Seton Medical Center Williamson allows individuals with disabilities and their families to trick-or-treat from decorated vehicle trunks. Bags for carrying candy will not be provided.

The 8th annual celebration of Festival of Lights is a celebration of Indian culture open to the public. The event will include a Bollywood dance workshop, a fashion show, henna tattooing booths, a Diya lighting ceremony, food vendors and over 50 live cultural performances.
