Renae Mitchell and Patricia Smith filed for Place 3. The seat is held by Mitchell, who was first elected to the board in 2016 and is currently board president.
Vernagene Mott and Claudia Torres-Yañez filed for Place 4. The seat is held by Mott, who was first elected to the board in 2004.
Kelly Daniel and Lee Wallace filed for Place 5. The seat is held by Daniel, who was first elected to the board in 2023 and is the board vice president.
Wallace originally filed for Place 3 on Feb. 4 but refiled for Place 5 on Feb. 13, per district documents.
