Trustees approved Option 4 for the 2024-25 academic year during a meeting Jan. 11. This comes after community members provided feedback via committee on what considerations should be taken in creating a calendar for the upcoming school year.
The details
Option 4 for the 2024-25 calendar has a start date of Aug. 14, with the first semester ending Dec. 18 and students returning for the spring semester Jan. 6. In this calendar scenario, the last day of classes is May 23.
The calendar also includes the following student holidays:
- Thanksgiving break, Nov. 25-29
- Spring break, March 10-14
