Many Pflugerville ISD systems, including the district's phones, internet and Raptor background check system, are down May 4 due to a semitruck crash the previous night.

According to an email to parents, the outage is expected to last for the rest of the day and potentially into May 5.

Because of the Raptor outage, PfISD campuses will not allow visitors until the outage is resolved.

Additionally, slower verification at student pickup times may cause longer waits for parents picking up their children.

According to the email, power, lights, air conditioning and food services are still operational at all campuses, and classes will continue as scheduled.
