During an April 21 meeting, Executive Director of Facilities and Construction Brandon Cardwell said Huckabee & Associates has helped the district plan its lats two bond campaigns, and the firm has maintained a good record.
"So far, they've been successful with helping us get bonds passed," Cardwell said.
District documents state the scope of work Huckabee & Associates will provide includes bond planning and working with a citizen committee as well as creating a bond information campaign and determining the best projects to pursue.
The school board approved the $99,000 expenditure to contract with Huckabee & Associates as well as another $91,400 expenditure for the same firm to provide PfISD with building assessments in preparation for the 2022 bond planning.
District documents state the scope of work for that expenditure will include demographic projections, general data and a district campus overview.
"We're looking at the potential of coming to our citizens for a November bond," Pflugerville ISD Superintendent Doug Killian said, adding it will all depend on assessed needs.
