Hutto ISD is the latest district to announce all operations will be delayed on Feb. 24.

The district stated the delay serves as a safety precaution due to inclement weather.

Elementary schools will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, followed my middle schools at 10:15 a.m. and high schools at 11 a.m., according to district information.

The announcement states the delay will affect required instructional minutes, and Hutto ISD will update instructions to make up the loss at a later date.

Pflugerville ISD announced all campus operations will be delayed by two hours on Feb. 24.

As part of the Feb. 23 announcement, district information states although conditions are mostly dry, the possibility of precipitation late into the evening and early morning could affect bus safety.


The announcement states buses will run their normal routes two hours later than normal, and school personnel will not be at campuses until the delayed start time.
