Pollo Regio's new location is now open for business in Pflugerville.

Only the second location in Central Texas, the quick-service restaurant will serve authentic mesquite-grilled chicken as well as a variety of traditional Mexican-style dishes, such as tortas, flautas and tacos.

Pollo Regio originated in the early 2000s as a food truck with a charcoal grill, according to the company's website. There are now physical locations in the Dallas, Houston and Austin areas.
