Pflugerville and Hutto residents will have three new food options opening by early August.

Grab a snack and drink on the go

Following several delays stemming in part from supply chain issues, the Food Box convenience store at 16212 Impact Way is tentatively scheduled to open by the end of July, owner Parvez Badarpura said.

He added the opening date could change, but as of now, the plan is to open by the end of July. The Food Box location has been planned since December 2020, when commercial real estate firm Rockspring helped broker the sale of the land. Food Box has served Central Texas communities for the last 20 years and sells gas, coffee, beer, wine, food and soft drinks.

Create your own sandwich

A Which Wich sandwich restaurant is scheduled to open around the first week of August at 16212 Impact Way, Pflugerville.

The custom sandwich chain will be inside of a new Food Box convenience store that is slated to open at the end of July. Owner Parvez Badarpura, who also owns the Food Box store, said Which Wich will open about a week after the convenience store due to employee training and other matters. Which Wich creates custom and signature sandwiches that include the Meat Balr, the Philly Cheesesteak and the Reuben Wich.

Originally expected to open in late June, a new Marco’s Pizza location at 6111 FM 1660, Ste. 300, Hutto, will be fully open and able to deliver July 19, a store employee confirmed July 17.

The opening date was delayed mainly due to issues with contracting work, according to the company. Marco’s Pizza serves specialty and custom pizzas, sub sandwiches, pizza bowls, salads, and desserts.
