Homebuilder Taylor Morrison will break ground on its for-rent home community, Yardly, later this spring. The company estimates the first residents will move in by the end of the year, according to a news release.

The details

Yardly Kelly Lane offers single-family rental homes designed to combine features of both traditional homes and apartments. The neighborhood will have community features like a dog park, swimming pool, fitness studio and barbecue area.

Each individual home will include:
  • Single-story floor plans with 10-foot ceilings
  • Private backyards
  • Minimal or no shared walls
  • Smart home technology
  • Full-size washer and dryer
  • Stainless steel kitchen appliances
  • Quartz countertops and bright interior finishes

The company also plans to bring rental communities to Georgetown and Hutto, the news release states.
