The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation will launch a new digital support center, aimed at helping local entrepreneurs grow their small businesses, Jan. 15.

The overview

The Startup Support Center is a digital platform that will provide tools and training for product development, services and technology. It is designed specifically for small business owners in Pflugerville—both long established and those just starting out.

Participants can expect curriculum for business planning, advanced marketing tools and automation systems, as well as additional support from local agencies and organizations. The program is free and those interested can sign up on the PCDC website starting Jan. 15.

Some context

This program is in line with the PCDC's latest strategic plan, which Pflugerville City Council approved in April 2024. According to a news release, the Startup Support Center aims to strengthen entrepreneurship by supporting business growth and developing the future workforce.

A number of local organizations, including the Texas State Small Business Development Center, the Texas Venture Alliance, the city of Pflugerville and the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce, back PCDC's new program.
