The Round Rock-based children's day camp announced last July it would relocate to an approximately 20-acre site on Kelly Lane in Pflugerville.
Pflugerville City Council approved a specific-use permit for outdoor commercial recreation and entertainment at a May 10 meeting.
The permit will allow Camp Doublecreek to hold entertainment activities and games in an outdoor setting at the new location, which its outdoor recreation zoning alone does not cover.
Camp Doublecreek's Pflugerville location is slated to open some time in 2023.
