A water line break that occurred July 12 in northern Hutto is affecting residences, businesses and other properties near the intersection of Limmer Loop and FM 1660, according to a city water service update.

City information states low water pressure will also affect city of Hutto water customers for a few hours, and eastbound traffic on Limmer Loop is being diverted onto the turn lane about 200 feet before the intersection at FM 1660.

The cause of the breakage is still being determined, Communications Manager Allison Strupeck said in an email. She added that water pressure is anticipated to be restored in the early evening of July 12.
